4ᵉ Edition of the Jean Pierson Leadership Award

So don’t let this talent go unnoticed: nominate him or her for the Jean Pierson Leadership Award before June 30!
A leaderhsip award
Created in 2022 by the ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation, this award pays tribute to Jean Pierson (S 1963), a man with a particularly inspiring personality. The prize was created on the initiative of and thanks to donations from friends, former colleagues and family members of Jean Pierson. Thanks to the support of companies where he has worked with ardor and panache, notably Airbus, where he was CEO for 13 years, we are now in a position to make this award a lasting one.
At AIRBUS, Jean Pierson and his team were instrumental in changing the course of civil aviation, and for 5 years as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SUPAERO (July 1998 to April 2002) he left his mark on the training of aerospace engineers.
The Jean Pierson Prize was awarded for the first time in December 2022.
Why this award?
Because leadership deserves to be recognized, encouraged and celebrated.
Because a leader is not necessarily a manager. It’s not always someone who speaks loudly, or seeks the limelight.
A leader is someone who acts for others, who makes people want to act alongside him or her, who unites without imposing, who inspires by example.
Nominate your candidate before June 30!
Do you have someone in mind? A group of students, a teacher, an internship supervisor or a professor can nominate a student at the end of a course at ISAE-SUPAERO. He or she will then have until October 15 to submit an application.
KEY DATES :
- Before June 30: nomination phase (extended to September 30 for training supervisors)
- Before October 15: submission of applications by nominated candidates
- Early December 2025: finalists (pre-selected in November) appear before the jury.
