14ᵉ edition of Entretiens de l’Excellence in Toulouse

Organized on the ISAE-SUPAERO campus in collaboration with the association Les Entretiens de l’Excellence, this event gives young people the chance to talk to professionals with inspiring career paths, and to find out more about the sectors, professions and prospects of the future.
The 14ᵉ edition took place on January 25, 2025.
AN AWARENESS-RAISING EVENT BRINGING TOGETHER NUMEROUS PARTNERS
The Entretiens de l’Excellence day, a key event for information and career guidance, is part of the “Semaine Nationale des Cordées de la réussite”. It is organized in collaboration with prestigious partners such as the Communauté d’Universités et d’Etablissements de Toulouse, Université de Toulouse – UPPSITECH Ecole d’Ingénieurs, École Nationale de Météorologie, Job IRL, Des Territoires aux Grandes Écoles and Tutorat Associatif Toulousain.
This event is an extension of the Cordée de la réussite OSE l’ISAE-SUPAERO initiatives. Les Entretiens de l’Excellence and OSE l’ISAE-SUPAERO share a common vision: to make career guidance a real tool for promoting equal opportunities. The aim of the day is to inform middle and high school students about vocational streams and how they work, while providing them with the keys to success in their academic and professional careers.
Speakers with excellent backgrounds (entrepreneurs, senior civil servants, researchers, academics, lawyers, engineers, journalists, etc.) are on hand to share their experiences. They present the higher education courses they have taken, describe their professions and answer young people’s questions with complete transparency. Their key message: don’t limit yourself and believe in your abilities.

This year, a very large number of young people were able to exchange views with inspiring professionals from 14 business sectors. They had the chance to receive from them keys to success on the different courses.
The following sectors were represented:
Defense and security, Finance, Politics and social affairs, Business creation and management, Environment and sustainable development, Education and research, Culture and heritage, Construction and architecture, Communication, audiovisual, Sales, Digital professions, Law and justice, Health, Science and technology.
Parents and carers had the opportunity to attend workshops on careers guidance.
3 workshops were offered to parents and carers: information and discussion on higher education, Parcoursup procedures, and guidance after the third year of secondary school. These workshops were run in partnership with the Rectorat de l’académie de Toulouse, the Communauté d’Universités et d’établissements de Toulouse and ISAE-SUPAERO.
