Launch of the O Ward: Beyond Aero Award
Published on
Are you an undergraduate or graduate student at ISAE-SUPAERO working on a project that contributes to the decarbonization of aviation? The O Ward might be just the thing for you! It gives you the resources to move your project forward with a grant of 5,000 € and support from the Beyond Aerospace teams.
Applications are being accepted through November 15, 2026
Beyond Aero
A company committed to transforming aviation, Beyond Aero is developing solutions to help decarbonize the industry.
The company’s history is also closely tied to ISAE-SUPAERO: two of its three co-founders, Eloa Guillotin (Class of 2020) and Hugo Tarlé (S 2020), met while attending the school.
Origin and Purpose of the Award
Created by the ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation at the initiative of Beyond Aero, the O Ward Prize recognizes an initiative that contributes to the decarbonization of aviation.
Whether it’s an entrepreneurial, community service, research, internship, or other project: the award is open to all ISAE-SUPAERO undergraduate and graduate students, regardless of their program of study.
The prize: a €5,000 grant, awarded to one or two projects, as well as three one-hour coaching sessions with the Beyond Aero teams.
How do I apply?
The application process consists of two steps and must be completed by November 15, 2026:
> Fill out the application form
> Create a presentation video of no more than 5 minutes, in any format, introducing your project, its connection to the decarbonization of aviation, and its potential impact.
The video must be sent via FileSender or a similar service to csp@fondation-isae-supaero.org.
What happens next?
Applications are first reviewed by a pre-selection committee. Three to five finalist projects will then be invited to present their initiatives to the Beyond Aero teams.
Each finalist will have 10 minutes for their presentation, followed by 20 minutes of discussion. The winners will then be selected by a vote of Beyond Aero employees.
The winning project(s) will be announced at the ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation Awards Ceremony.
