After discovering, doing and being inspired, it’s time to pass on what they’ve learned: the annual Cordée de la réussite OSE l’ISAE-SUPAERO event took place on Thursday May 30, 2024 at the Marché d’Intérêt National in Toulouse.
📷 Photos of the event, taken by Club Rafale, can be found here.
Throughout the year, the ISAE-SUPAERO OSE program offers more than 1,100 young people from various schools in the Toulouse and Montpellier academies themed courses enabling them to :
Discover – Make – Inspire and Restore.
This year, there were 4 main themes:
- Feminization (Post’Her projects, Parcours Campus au féminin and Ça plane pour elles)
- Guidance, orality and tutoring (Mentoring, projets Bac Pro, Mon projet dans le sup, Caving)
- Space and popularization (Space course, Diving, Robotics)
- Sustainable development and sport (Sustainable development, Handifly, Climbing courses)
The presentation day is eagerly awaited by all the students in the Cordée de la réussite OSE L’ISAE-SUPAERO program, and marks the end of the tutoring year. Over the past year, the classes have been working on various projects, and this is their chance to present them!
On the agenda for this one-day event:
- Opening by Olivier Lesbre, General Manager of ISAE-SUPAERO, Stéphane Albernhe, President of the Foundation and Nadia Pellefigue, Vice President of the Occitanie region in charge of higher education and research.
- 180-second pitch from alumni and partners: their experiences and advice for the students in attendance. The pitches were evaluated by the students, with prizes awarded for the best performances: Benoit Floquet, Bourse Jeune Pousse 2021, won the Jury Prize, and Malaury Fouet, OSE volunteer, won the Coup de Coeur Prize!
- In the afternoon, the roles were reversed: in the form of stands, students from each school took it in turn to present the projects they had carried out during the year to a panel of partners (tutoring, Women’s Campus course, diving, caving, Space Course, Sustainable Development Course, Bac Pro immersion, etc.).
Awards ceremony :
After each jury had visited the stands, the students in turn were able to wander around and discover the stands of the other schools, and vote for “the best stand” by awarding a People’s Choice Award to the secondary school of their choice.
Based on evaluation criteria relating to verbal and non-verbal communication, the information given, the length of the pitch, the form and originality of the project and the medium, the day’s big winners were :
- 1st prize in the middle school category: Jules Vernes middle school with their project on the theme of feminization
- 1st prize in the high school category: Lycée Françoise de Tournefeuille with their presentation of tutoring and orality.
- 1st prize in the middle school category: Collège Claude Nougaro with their project on feminization as part of Campus au Féminin.
- 1st prize in the high school category: Lycée Jules Fil for their satellite communications project, part of the Space Path with Space Elevator.
